Saturday June 12th

This evening was the first leg of the Red, White and Blue Series. In qualifying Mark was 8th fastest with a lap of 19.683. In the first 50 lap feature Mark was lined up 11th (inside row 6) and was making a march to the front when some cars up ahead got real racy. A couple cars lost control and made contact right in front of Mark, which knocked the fender off the car. Mark continued to race until the hood came up and made it hard for him to see, when he pulled in the pits they also found that the radiator was punctured. Mark would stay parked for the rest of the first 50 lap feature and came home 17th. Mark was able to borrow a radiator from another team in the pit area in order for him to race in the 2nd 50 lap feature. Mark started 16th in the feature and quickly moved forward after the team did a great job of getting the car repaired. When the checkered flag flew Mark was in 7th place. Next race Thursday Night June 20th at WIR.
