Tonight was the Blue race, the final race of the Red, White and Blue State Championship series. In qualifying Mark turned a 19.603 which made him the 8th position. This evening there were twin 50 lap races, in the first 50 lap race Mark lined up 5th (inside row 3) and was keeping up with the lead pack when about half way through the race Mark slowed on the track and pulled the car in. At first it looked like they believe they had a flat tire, but it appeared there was something else wrong with the car, the final run down for the first 50 lap race showed Mark finishing 20th. In the 2nd 50 lap race Mark lined up 18th (outside row 9) and was starting to make his way toward the front once again taking his time as the race was 50 laps. Shortly into the race Mark again experienced problems and pulled the car in and parked it for the night, Mark finished 20th in the 2nd 50 lap race also.
