This evening the track was very fast, the weather was perfect weather for lots of horsepower and it showed at Terry Baldry broke a track record that was set back in 1987. Mark turned a lap of 19.741 which was only good enough for 11th place this evening. This evening there was an extended feature which meant there would be no fast dash run, but 3 heat races would be run instead. Mark lined up 5th in the middle heat and was able to advance up to the 2nd position in a 10 lap race. The feature line up placed Mark 10th (outside row 5), with the race being 20 laps longer you needed to save your tires for the end. Mark was holding his own and slowly catching the lead pack, Mark made it up to the 6th position and was gaining on the lead cars. Mark brought the car home in 6th place which is a great run for the whole team after an up and down season.
