After having engine problems at the last two events the team was thankful that they were able to borrow an engine from Mike Butz. If they weren't able to borrow the engine the team would not have competed this evening. The team made a strong return this evening by setting fast time with a lap of 19.655. In the dash Mark was running in 3rd place when the J bar broke. The J bar holds the rear end of the car square with the frame, when this broke it allowed the rear end to move out both sides of the car. When this happened it broke the quarter panel off the car. The team repaired the car in time for the feature, but after running some laps the car was bottoming out in the corners. Mark pulled the car in and called it an evening, after looking more closely at the car they found the trailing arms and other things were bent.
