After running the first 2 weeks run on Sunday's, tonight it was back to running Thursday Nights. The night started under cloudy skies, but no threat of rain ever appeared. The track was fast as the top 18 were all under 20 seconds, The top 8 cars were under 19.860, Mark turned a time of 19.474 which was 3rd fastest, just .020 off fast time. In the dash Mark was lined up 4th (2nd row outside), the front row ran side by side for a few laps before the outside line moved, at the checkers Mark was 2nd. In the feature Mark had to start in the rear as he won the feature event the week before. The club has a rule if you win the feature, the following week you start in the back. A couple laps Mark had to deal with a slower car holding him up, once he got by him he was flying. When Mark came to a car he didn't wait for the inside to open up, he went right by them on the outside. He came from the back to the front and passed them all on the outside. He got up to 7th place and there was a large gap between him and 6th place, thankfully a caution came out, but there wasn't enough laps left in the book.
