Well what a night...that pretty much sums up the whole evening. Qualifying was run and we were in the top5, but there was no fast dash or heats this evening. It was the third and final leg of the Triple Crown Series. The feature event was extended to 50 laps for this evening also. Shortly before any of the feature events were to start major rain hit the track and lasted a good 30 minutes. The track was than dried and racing got underway about 9:30pm. We were lined up in 14th place (outside row 7) for the feature event. Knowing there were 20 more laps to get to the front than normal Mark took his time getting through traffic. By lap 35 Mark was up to 6th place, Mark was really getting through traffic well this evening and was almost as fast at the top 2 cars. Mark was working on taking another position, but this driver didn't seem to want to give a lane. Coming out of turn 4 Mark was under the car and the driver cut down and spun out. From the teams standpoint Mark had position and the driver cut down on him. The club made a decision that there was contact according to there contact rule and both were sent to the rear. What was going to be a 4th place finish turned into a 18th place finish. It's to bad this had to happen, but other drivers have had the same problem with this driver. We will be at Norway tomarrow night and then at WIR for the Blue race Saturday. See you there!
