Thursday July 18th

Mark qualified 4th fastest with a 19.710 which put him on the inside of row 3 for the fast dash. After taking the green and running a couple laps coming out of turn 4 and the dogleg there was some contact and Mark was side passenger side right into the soft wall. Mark was able to drive away but had alot of body damage. Hard work by the crew and Mark in getting the car back togethor for the feature. Line up showed outside of row 6 (12th place). The outside line was moving and Mark was moving forward, then Mark started dropping back and pulled in. Something might have broke with the contact with the wall. This didn't help our point battle as we could have gained some points on the #8 car tonight.
