Thursday May 9th

Mark was the fast qualifer of the evening. The weather was cold and breezy, it was hard to keep heat in the tires with the way the weather was. Mark would start in 6th place in the dash and after having the leader spin out coming to the green, every driver made sure they had enough heat in the tires. Mark was able to finish 5th in the dash. Mark had to start about mid pack and was able to make a move through the field. Having to pass cars on both the inside and outside Mark moved up to the 7th place, there was contact between two drivers in the top 5. After the caution Mark was in 4th place, he was working on getting by the 3rd place car, but wasn't quite able to do it. Fast time, 5th in the dash and 4th in the feature, not to bad at all! I tell you guys what I think this #7 Schroeder Motorsports, Miller Lite, General Beer Northeast, TOTO sponsored team is in Championship form and is a strong contender!
