The first Thursday Night Thunder race this year that the weather allowed to run. Mark got the car all fixed after the racing contact that was made during the Sunday special. Mark turned a fast lap in qualifying of 19.630 which was good enough for 4th fastest! That allowed Mark to run the dash in which he started in 3rd place and finished in third place. In the feature Mark had some fast laps going and was gaining on the leaders. With 4 laps in the books there was a lengthy caution. Crew members were allowed to adjust tire pressure and we went back to racing. Mark ran as hard as he could but the handling of the car wasn't like it was before the caution. Mark would hang tough with an ill handling car to finish 12th.
