Heading into Round 3 of the Auto Value Challenge Mark was leading the points by 3. The Auto Value Challenge is a 3 race special. Mark would take a strong second place finish in the Dash behind ASA Regular Kevin Cywinski. The feature would prove to be exciting as Terry Baldry and Scott Hansen went side by side for lap after lap. At the checkers Mark would finish in 3rd place. The 3rd place finish was enough for Mark to win the Auto Value Championship. Mark was going to run the full season up there, but then decided after a couple weeks to only run specials. He has done very well running the specials, he won the Stateline Challenge, in the Auto Value challenge he took a 1st, 8th, and 3rd place finish.
