Saturday July 14th

Heading into Saturday evening Mark and the team have run 2 straight nights after running tonight that will make it 3 in a row. Thursday Mark has a pretty decent run, Friday he won the feature and Saturday well problems occured. Mark qualified with a 19.919 which was 10th fastest, it seems that many of the teams qualifying times slowed down from the Red Race. Mark would start 5th in the first 50 lapper, Mark quickly moved up into the 3rd position. The first through third place car were way ahead of the field when a caution would come out and bunch them all up. Mark would be overpowered and slid back to 6th place, Mark was riding there until going into turn 3 he was taken out. That sent both cars to the tail of the field, once the green came out that same driver was beating on the back of Mark's bumper until Mark pulled it. Mark wasn't happy with the car and changes were made for the second 50 lapper. Mark was looking for a good run in the second 50 since he would have fresher tires since he didn't finish the first 50. Mark started the second 50 in 17th place, the field was heading through turn 4 for the green 1 drivers made contact with another car. Mark saw that and dove low, but that car came right down in front of Mark. The contact damaged the suspension severely and that would put Mark 22nd in the feature. Bad luck at WIR seems to be finding Mark hopefully we can change this.

First 50 - 18th
Second 50 - 22nd
Points - 5th, 49 behind points leader.
