July 12th Racing

Thursday July 12th

After running two weeks with perfect weather the streak continued this week. The racing got a little better, but the qualifying times were a whole lot faster. Mark turned lap of 19.825 which would be 7th fastest, just missing the dash by .004 mark would run the 4th heat in which he would start dead last and work his way up to 5th. In the feature Mark started in 9th place in the feature and worked his way up to forth place. Mark would hang tough as he tried to advance his position. Mark fought hard to stay up front but would finish in 8th place. Mark said the car still isn't setup like it needs to be. Come back Saturday as I am sure Mark will have something for them considering the first race of the Red, White Blue he was fast qualifying besting 45 some cars!!!! The team is heading up to Norway on Friday and then coming back to WIR on Saturday for the White Race. See you there!
