Francis Creek was the next stop of the Midwest Allstar Series. The race was to be run a couple weeks ago but got rained out. For the second MARS race in a row Mark qualified well and would have to make his march from near the back of the field. Mark did like he had at Norway and wait for the tires to build up to pressure before moving up. At around the half way point Mark again charged through the field. He was up to 3rd place and tried to get by the #5 of Rod Wheeler and #66 of Jim Duchow but was unsucessful. Mark was by far the fastest car out there and seemed faster than both the front cars. At the end of the race Mark's brakes started to go away and he would fade to a 6th place finish
