May 27th Racing

May 27th, 2000 - As the norway season gets going it looks real good for the #7 team. The 2nd week and Mark is 3rd in points. Mark's qualifying times have been fast enough for him to make the dash every week so far. Tonight Mark was able to finish 3rd in the dash. There was a threat for rain so the feature was run as quick as possible. As the green flew Mark had to work his way from the near the back of the back. Mark would be in 3rd by lap 16 and moved in to 2nd by lap 18. He would run wheel to wheel with the leader for the remaining laps. At the checkers Mark would lose the win by 2 feet! Close racing! Weekly racing will now be on Friday Nights.
