August 4th Racing

August 4th, 2000 - Mark turned the fastest lap of the night in qualifying. Mark started in the 6th spot for the dash and was able to work his way up to 3rd. It's harder to move up to the front of the dash with only 6 laps. Being fast qualifier puts you a little further back in the feature. Mark moved up through traffic and was able to get 6th place. The points race looks good for Mark as he continues to lead.
