July 28th Racing

July 28th, 2000 - Mark turned the fastest lap of the night in qualifying. He would start in the dash as he has all season. Mark started in the 6th spot for the dash and was able to move up to 3rd place at the checkers. Mark started near the back of the feature, he moved through traffic and was into the top 5 as the laps ran down. Mark got up to 3rd place and the top 3 were close togethor, the checkers flew before Mark could make his move on the leader. Mark is the points leader by 49 points with 2 nights of racing left.
