July 13th Racing

July 13th, 2000 - During practice it seems many of the cars were sliding alittle bit. It showed in qualifying as the times were a little off compared to last week. Mark turned a lap of 19.876 which was 11th fastest. Mark started on the outside of row 2 for heat #4. At the start Mark was right there but had no where to go. The inside line was moving and Mark was drove right to the rear. Mark would run a lap after going to the rear and pull in the pits. The feature lineup had Mark starting inside of row three. At the drop of the green Mark started moving to the front. He was able to move to second and was gaining on the leader at the halfway point. As the laps wound down two cars would get by. At the white flag two cars were on Mark's bumper but he held his own and took home a 4th place finish in the feature!!!! Great job and team effort Mark and crew.
