May 29th Racing

May 29th, 2000 - The third stop for the mars series was at Wisconsin International Raceway for a 75 lap race. Qualifying times weren't as fast for most drivers as they are on Thursday nights. Mark's qualifying time was in the 19's which would be good enough to make the field on time. Feature line up had Mark near the rear of the field. At the green flag Mark looked pretty good and as more laps went on the board the car got better. Mark started to pick off cars at a pretty good pace. One car was holding Mark up and just as he got under him to pass him a caution came out. With 3 laps to go Mark was in 6th place and looking to get another position but came up short. At the line Mark was 6th! Great job guys the car is getting better and faster!
