May 20th 1999 - Mark qualified 6th fastest turning a lap of 19.925, which aloud him to be in the dash. Mark started on the pole in the dash and would go on to finish 3rd. Mark started in the middle of the feature. He quickly jumped to the outside which seemed to be the fast way around. He was picking of a car each lap. He would eventually get caught up behind Jerry Schnieder, shortly after that Mark would fall back into line. After long caution periods of having to stop and shut off the cars and continue the cars weren't as good as if they would have continued. The cars were on the track for over and hour. Mark would finish 7th but after the #17 car was DQ he would finish 6th. He is 4th in points with 233 which is ONLY 33 from behind the leader. See you next Thursday!!!
