September 2nd Racing

September 2nd, 1999 - Final night of Thursday Night Thunder proved to be a good one for Mark and the team. In the past weeks Mark wasn't able to break the 20's in qualifying. But on this night he set a time of 19.824 which would be 4th fastest. Since being 4th fastest he would make run the dash. Mark started on the inside of the second row but would go on to finish a disapointing 6th place. Feature time came around and Mark would start towards mid pack. The car seemed good and Mark would run to the front but faster cars would get around him. Still was a great run in the feature finishing 4th. Great Job Mark and team on a super season. Hopefully next season will be better!!!
