August 27th Racing

August 27th, 1999 - Coming fresh off a great run at WIR Thursday night, the team loaded up and head for NorwayFriday night. Mark had just won the feature the previous time up there. The car seemed dialed in pretty well and after qualifying it seemed it was. Mark would set a time that was fast enough to be fast qualifier!!!! Mark would start in the 6th spot in the dash and would get up to 4th until the checkers flew. When the field lined up for the feature Mark was in 12th spot for the start. Mark would quickly make his way towards the front in a dominating fastion. Before you know it Mark was leading the event but his luck would run out. With 2 laps remaining a tire went flat losing air and the feature.
