July 8th Racing

July 8th, 1999 - What began as a good day quickly became a crappy day. The rain came and the track was dried and racing was to start. There was no qualifying it went by points. Mark started on the outside of the front row. He was hanging with Bennett but began to drop back. Before the half way point of the race Mark had slowed way off and pulled it into the pits. Mark has taken the car apart and found some loose parts and thought that would help but it hadn't. After running the street stocks the race was called. Mark finished 6th in the dash.
